About Me

Hey, I'm the guy with the red beard.

I'm a traveler, hiker and filmmaker who believes the best stories happen just past the point where the guidebook ends.

My Story

How it started

It started with one cheap flight and a camera I barely knew how to use. I came home with blurry footage, a sunburn, and the realization that I wanted to do this for the rest of my life.

Since then I've hiked glaciers, gotten lost in medinas, eaten things I couldn't pronounce, and filmed all of it. The Red Beard Explorer is where those adventures live: the epic moments, the mistakes, and the practical stuff you need to go see it for yourself.

My videos aren't polished travel ads. They're honest: what it costs, what's overrated, and what's worth every blister.

How I Travel

The explorer's rules

01

Go slower

Fewer places, more time. The good stuff shows up on day three.

02

Keep it honest

Real costs, real mistakes, and no pretending every place is perfect.

03

Eat like a local

If there's a line of locals out the door, I'm in it.

04

Leave no trace

Pack it in, pack it out, and respect the people who live there.
